A Pedro Bessa black belt, Rich Rubino has been a long time student of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu studying and achieving all his belt promotions from Pedro. He has attended dozens of seminars taught by world champions and also invested in his BJJ by travelling and studying under various black belts in America, Dubai, Italy and Portugal As a competitor Rich Rubino has won the IBJJF European Championships as well as many regional titles. As a coach he has already developed students into National and IBJJF Champions.

His focus has shifted from his own competing to that of developing his students and helping them to one day surpass his own achievements. Rich has a traditional style of coaching showing his passion for the sport. He is regularly at competitions around the UK preparing his students for their events. 

Rich puts as much time into his hobbyists as his competitors and appreciates that everyone has their own reasons for wanting to pursue BJJ as a hobby.

Mark started training under Pedro Bessa then making the move to join RR after achieving his blue belt. He has now achieved the level of black belt under RR. Mark has gone from strength to strength as a competitor winning National Championships, IBJJF events and being invited onto some of Europes top invitational shows. Mark is a dedicated student, competitor and also coach, specialising in the no-gi / submission grappling element of BJJ. Mark has been teaching no-gi bjj for three years helping the RR students diversify their skill set.

Harry has been training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since the age of 14, so understands the different needs that teens have when being taught BJJ. 

Prior to BJJ Harry was a keen rugby player and would also often help out with the pee-wee teams. 

Already having 8 years experience in BJJ Harry is well versed in all aspects the martial art and is keen to help the next crop of young enthusiasts get the most from their time on the mats.

Jack started BJJ with RR in 2019 and took to the art very quickly. Jack is a frequent competitor who is already making a name for himself on a national level. Jack has experience coaching through his previous sport of swimming where he was one of the countries top junior athletes. Jack has a good way with people and is very encouraging as an assistant coach. Jack has already been awarded his purple belt by RR due to his ability, commitment and great attitude at the academy.
